Welcome to ASSE 2024!

2024 5th Asia Service Sciences and Software Engineering Conference aims to provide a forum for researchers, practitioners, and professionals from the industry, academia and government to discourse on research and development, professional practice in Service Sciences and Software Engineering.  ASSE 2024 will be held in The University of Tokyo, Japan during September 11-13, 2024. It is sponsered by The University of Tokyo, Japan. Welcome scholars and researchers working in the field of  Service Sciences and Software Engineering from all over the world to attend the conference and share your experiences and lessons with other enthusiasts, and develop opportunities for cooperation.

Submission & Review Process:  Authors are solicited to contribute to the conference by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works and industrial experiences. Submissions must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication while being evaluated for this conference.  After the conference group receiving the paper submission, it will be sent to be blind and peer reviewed by 2-3 reviewers. Only revised papers that pass the second review will be accepted. ASSE do not accept multiple submissions, plagiarism, and self-plagiarism. Submissions in violation will be rejected without review.

Paper Publication

The authors can choose one of the following ways for submitting of your papers, Please conform to the correct format when preparing your papers.

Publication in Proceedings

The submitted papers will be peer reviewed by Technical Committee.  The accepted and registered papers can be published in the ACM Conference Proceedings(ISBN: 979-8-4007-1754-3), which will be indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus.

Introduction to the University of Tokyo

The University of Tokyo (東京大学, Tōkyō daigaku; Todai or UTokyo) is a public research university in Bunkyō, Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 1877 by the merger of several pre-westernisation era institutions such as Shoheizaka Institute (founded in 1605) and Kaiseijo, it was the nation's first modern university.
UTokyo consists of 10 faculties, 15 graduate schools, and 11 affiliated research institutes. As of 2023, it has a total of 13,974 undergraduate students and 14,258 graduate students.

UTokyo boasts a distinguished network of alumni, faculty members, and researchers. As of 2021, The University of Tokyo's alumni, faculty members and researchers include 17 prime ministers of Japan, 18 Nobel Prize laureates, four Pritzker Prize laureates, five astronauts, and a Fields Medalist.
As of November 2023, UTokyo alumni held 139 seats in the National Diet, representing 19.5 per cent of the total 713 seats.Additionally, UTokyo alumni have founded some of Japan's largest companies, such as Toyota Motor and Hitachi, and are holding chief executive positions at Sony, MUFG, Mitsui Corp, Mitsubishi Corp and Japan Post.
